Sambando se vive a e na cidade
consumo habitacional em São Paulo a partir de letras de sambas
Abstract
In this article we analyze how the historical context of modernization of the city of São Paulo and, in particular, the dynamics of Housing Consumption in this urban context, are expressed aesthetically in lyrics from paulistanos sambas, written in the second half of the 20th century. It will be part of our corpus, lyrics of songs of three composers, consecrated in the São Paulo samba scene of the studied period: Adoniran Barbosa, Paulo Vanzolini and Geraldo Filme. We will perform a discourse analysis of lyrics, from some aesthetic concepts to have an understanding of how this particular consumption is represented. As previous results, we conclude that the aesthetic experience of the city communicated by the letters is demarcated by the coexistence of "several cities", which are propitious for the housing of certain groups to the detriment of others.
